DFS Furniture doesn't mind if you just want to curl up on the couch. Europe's giant sofa retailer sells upholstered fabric and leather sofas, sofa beds, recliners, and dining furniture through a chain of some 100 DFS stores dotting England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and the Netherlands. It sells its products under such brands as Country Living, House Beautiful, and French Connection. DFS has three factories in the UK that manufacture and service its lineup. The company traces its historical roots to 1969 when it was established as Northern Upholstery.
